Ganja and Azerrail crowned National Snow Volleyball Cup winners in Azerbaijan

The National Snow Volleyball Cup run by the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) was held this past week at the Shahdag Tourism Centre. The multi-day tournament featured many exciting matches across both genders. 

On the final day, three matches were played in the women’s competition. According to the round-robin results, the final standing was eventually determined: after winning all their matches (four wins, 12 points), Team Ganja took first place and became the National Cup champions for 2026. Team Milli (three wins, eight points) finished second, while Azerrail (two wins, six points) took third place.

In the men’s competition, Baku Fires defeated Ganjlar 2-0 in the third-place match to claim the bronze medal. In the final, national powerhouse Azerrail beat Qaraqaya 2-0 to become the National Cup champions, with Qaraqaya taking the silver medal.

An awarding ceremony was held after the final whistle of the last match. Winners and medallists received diplomas, trophies, medals, and special gifts prepared by the VMF watch factory – official partner of the Azerbaijan Snow Volleyball National Cup. The awards were presented by MP Alibala Maharramzade, AVF Vice President Bahruz Guliyev, Secretary General Faig Orujov, and VMF Watch Factory Director Orkhan Mammadov.
